End of an era
Elizabeth Taylor Graphics Liquidation
It is with great regret that the directors of Elizabeth Taylor Graphics, Tim Beere and Steve O’Dell, have made the decision to place the company into voluntary liquidation. This has come about because of the difficult trading conditions over the last 4 years of recession coupled with borrowing for capital expenditure in 2007 which had to be serviced on declining returns. The company was very dependent on the real estate industry which dipped sharply during that time. Unfortunately the depth and length of the recession could not have been predicted.
The liquidators are Shephard Dunphy of Wellington. It is hoped that the liquidation will go some considerable way towards satisfying creditors who will all be notified in due course.
Mr Beere said that his greatest regret was the job losses that will ensue. The Elizabeth Taylor Graphics team are all of the highest calibre and had continued to support the business through all of the difficulties of the last 4 years. Their hard work and loyalty could not be overstated he said. Mr Beere is looking for prospective employers and would be grateful to hear from anyone looking for good, reliable staff members.
Personal Note Elizabeth and I are very upset at what has happened. Tens of thousands of hours of work have gone into the business which we have lived and breathed for 14 years. We have personally lost a great deal of money in this which we know will not be recovered in the liquidation. We are looking at other options and would be pleased to hear from you Regards
